The Fox medical drama House is now moving to the first hour of primetime on Monday nights, taking the slot that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles held. It’s also giving American Idol it’s proper spot back. I would think on the Fox schedule, everything bows down for Idol. Not that there isn’t any reality TV on tonight, as we have six hours of that to contend with, which is honestly more than one person can watch in a night, and probably the reason why Superstars of Dance seems to be tanking.

1. Oprah Winfrey. Oprah brings us her show today from the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C for the Inaugural Celebration. Her guests will be Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Scarlett Johansson, Bono, will.i.am, Faith Hill, Seal, David Foster, and Mary J. Blige. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. Regis and Kelly. Guests today include Kyra Sedgwick, Brody Jenner, and Kara DioGuardi, the new judge on American Idol. I could give a crap how she gets alot with the others; I just want to know about the contestants this year. Just trying to save Regis and Kelly some important banter time. Syndicated, check local listings.

3. The Nutty Professor. Here’s a good movie for the kids, well not too young, to watch while they’re home on Martin Luther King Day. Eddie Murphy plays different roles, mostly within his own family, in this movie about a professor who develops a potion to lose weight and turns into a jerk. 11:00 AM CT USA

 4. Ellen DeGeneres Show. Officially over at TVGuide.com Kiefer Sutherland and T.I. are listed as Ellen’s guests. But People.com says that today is the day that Ellen will finally get George Clooney on her show. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. Grosse Pointe Blank. John Cusack brings his self-analyzation to the character of a hitman returning home to attend his high school reunion. Also stars Minni Driver, Dan Aykroyd, and Alan Arkin, and of course, Joan Cusack. 5:05 PM CT Starz 1 West

 6. The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon uses his intelligence, which normally makes him very socially awkward, in a scientific procedure to see if it can also be used to make friends. 7:00 PM CT CBS7. Superstars of Dance. It’s week four of this new worldwide competition, but I’m not so sure anyone is even watching anymore. 7:00 PM CT NBC

8. The Bachelor. This one, I know people are watching. This time, two girls will be left out to not get a date with Jason. Two will get one-on-one dates, and eight of the others will visit the Keep-a-Breast Foundation. One of the dates will end badly for one of the girls, while another one runs out at the rose ceremony. 7:00 PM CT ABC

9. Gossip Girl. After finding out who has been granted early admission to Yale, Serena makes a connection with her new Shakespeare teacher, while Blair, getting her first B from the same teacher, doesn’t seem to connect too well. Chuck gets an ally in his feud with Jack, and Nate and Vanessa go to the opera. 7:00 PM CT CW

10. House. Cameron urges the team to take the case of a suicidal man suffering from chronic pain, pain that seems to be like House’s. Cuddy finds that while caring for her adopted baby it doesn’t leave her much time to run the hospital. Foreman and Thirteen keep exploring their relationship as they work on the Huntington’s disease drug trial. 7:00 PM CT Fox

11. How I Met Your Mother. As Lily returns from Seattle, a blizzard hits the city, threatening her reunion with Marshall at the airport. Ted and Barney want to meet two women at MacLaren’s, but Carl is planning to close early, prompting the two guys to volunteer to cover the bar until their dates show up. 7:30 PM CT CBS

12. Two and a Half Men. Alan suspects he’s the father of the baby Judith is carrying. Jake is in a really foul mood. 8:00 PM CT CBS

13. One Tree Hill. Lucas and Julian struggle to pick a director for their film. Peyton isn’t sure how she feels about the present Lucas gave her, and Brooke is facing romantic difficulties. 8:00 PM CT CW

14. 24. Jack Bauer works with the FBI and President Taylor with the terror threat on the rise, as the First Gentleman works on his own agenda. 8:00 PM CT Fox

15. CSI: Miami. The investigation of a murder that happened during a horse race is made more difficult when Horatio finds there is a personal connection between the case and Ryan, 9:00 PM CT CBS

16. Momma’s Boys. It’s the season finale as the “boys” go on their final dates and mull over their “mommas’” advice before choosing their ultimate mates. 9:00 PM CT NBC

17. True Beauty. Photo shoot preparations are a secret test of compassion and sportsmanship, as the wardrobe stylist pretends she’s in the middle of a messy breakup, with hidden cameras are all around her. 9:00 PM CT ABC
