What’s Hot On TV Tonight - NFL Playoffs

Published by laurabelle at 10:16 am under Programming Edit This

playoffs.jpgWe have the divisional playoffs for the NFL today, and those should prove to be some pretty interesting games. I also found a couple Patrick Swayze films, and after seeing him on Barbara Walters, and hearing the news that he now has pneumonia, I just want to fill myself up with all the Patrick Swayze I can get. And if that doesn’t make you somber enough, we have Stepmom on late in the afternoon, just for a good cry or two, then we can pick ourselves up again laughing, watching either Game Show In My Head or Beethoven’s Big Break.

1. The Kid. A great story about a man (Bruce Willis) who has the incredible luck to meet up with himself as an 8 year old boy and realize just what some of the things were that he did wrong in life, giving him some insight. 11:30 PM CT Starz 6

2. Road House. It’s not a good feeling, but something in the pit of my stomach is telling me we should watch every Patrick Swayze film we can get our hands on right now. He’s a bouncer in a rowdy bar in this one. 1:30 PM CT A&E

3. Ghost. This is probably one of the two most famous Patrick Swayze movies out there. He stars in this one as Demi Moore’s dead husband, and that in itself gives me the chills. 12:45 AM CT HBO West

4. NFL Playoff: Ravens at Titans. Baltimore took care of Miami last weekend, but how will they fare against Tennessee? When the teams met in the regular season, it was the Titans winning 13-10 with 10 points in the fourth quarter. 3:30 PM CT CBS

5. Stepmom. Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, and Ed Harris star in this movie of a man who leaves his wife for a younger woman, and when his first wife learns she’s dying, it means she has to deal with the other woman not only taking over her husband, but her kids as well. 5:00 PM CT ABC Family

6. Game Show In My Head. In this game show that premiered last week, tonight’s show features a telemarketer from Detroit. 7:00 PM CT CBS

7. Crusoe. Crusoe is happily uncomfortable when Susannah arrives. When they go looking for Friday, they discover they’re not alone there on the island. 7.00 PM CT NBC

8. NFL Playoff: Cardinals at Panthers. Birds against the cats? Carolina was lucky enough to have the week off last week while the Cardinals were taking care of Atlanta. When these teams met during the season Kurt Warner had a good game, but Carolina went on to win anyway. 7:00 PM CT Fox

9. Beethoven’s Big Break. I’ve lost count, but here’s another sequel of the famous St. Bernard. In this one, the dad in the family is an animal trainer, and when a dog he’s using in a film is dognapped, he’s forced to use Beethoven, the stray his son brought home. 7:00 PM CT Disney

10. Game Show In My Head. In the second half hour of the show tonight, a marketing executive from Clifton, New Jersey gets his chance to have a game show in his head. 7:30 PM CT CBS

11. 48 Hours Mystery. The mystery profiled is the 2000 stabbing of Toni Heartstrong in her Jupiter Farms, Florida home. 9:00 PM CT CBS

12. Saturday Night Live. The guest host is Neil Patrick Harris, and the musical guest is Taylor Swift.
