The Bachelor – Will Jesse Get His Own Season?
There’s quite an interesting trend that has been started. For over a year, the majority of The Bachelor and Bachelorette pools keep feeding off each other. With the exception of one season, each season has been built out of the failed relationships of the season before it. At some point I think we’re going to need some new blood.
It started when Brad Womack turned down Deanna Pappas. He made it seem like he was going to choose her, then at the last moment, tugged on his collar and decided he couldn’t go through with it as he wasn’t in love with her. We were all so appalled at the way she was treated, and ABC saw our outpouring to her and made her the next Bachelorete. We couldn’t wait for her to find true love, but by the end of that season, we were seeing a different Deanna. We thought she wanted a true love and a family, and when it was staring her right in the face, she’d turn it away.
Presented with a final two of Jesse Csincsak and Jason Mesnick, Deanna chose snowboarder Jesse, saying he was just so different from anyone she would normally be with. They were quick to declare their love for each other and set a wedding date. This left single dad Jason out in the cold, and that guy seemed to just want to build a new family life for his young son. We as fans insisted, along with a signed petition, that Jason be the next Bachelor, and ABC agreed, as Jason’s season is due to start January 5 as he tries out his luck with 25 new ladies.
However, Jesse’s and Deanna’s relationship has now failed after she broke up with him in the airport at the baggage counter. Jesse appeared on Extra looking like such the sad sack, not understanding how this happened. Well, if the others were spurned and are coming back, why not Jesse? A Montana grandmother now thinks they can do the same for him and has started a petition. At this writing, there are currently 2,641 signatures with a goal for 3,500. Jesse has said he isn’t opposed to the idea.
Will ABC sign him up? I think it all depends on if they see the money in a season featuring Jesse. The funny thing is the woman who spurned him got her chance to be The Bachelorette also being spurned. Are we breeding this with this show or is it just natural relationship problems? I do feel badly for him, but maybe he’s better off just starting fresh. You can’t tell me that after being on the show that he doesn’t have 1000s of women on his doorstep. The same goes for Jason, and for him he’s got higher stakes, bringing his son into it. How is that little boy going to understand that 25 women are being brought to his father, and he gets to make his choice of them? I suppose the same way he explained that a woman was going to make her choice of 25 men and he was going to hope and hope and hope he’d be the lucky guy.
Isn’t it time, though, that we get some new faces in there, people that haven’t been burned on national TV?

Thank the Good Lord that ms bachelorette, herself, is OUT of his life - sorry for your hurt Jesse Love - but omg child - that was one evil woman - have you seen the youtube video by wwwthespottv posted Dec 2?
