It’s odd for a show to be making it’s season premiere in December, nevertheless, that’s what According to Jim is doing. Seems like ABC is trying to fill its schedule with Dancing With the Stars now over until the spring. The Bachelor will take its place on Mondays, so it seems Jim is taking the space on Tuesdays. And the holiday special on tonight is Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, meaning I’ll be singing Put One Foot In Front of the Other all day long.

1. National Lampoon’s Animal House. John Belushi at his best and finest. So many classic moments from this movie, it’s hard to know where to start. Belushi smashing the guy’s guitar, though, is certainly right up there. 12:20 PM CT Encore West

2. The Bonnie Hunt Show. Bill Pullman and Nicole Sullivan are guests, as well as the most recently eliminated team from The Amazing Race. Everyone out there seems to feel really badly about Toni and Dallas being eliminated, so it’ll be interesting to see what they have to say about it. Syndicated, check local listings.

3. December Boys. Daniel Radcliffe’s attempt to break out of the Harry Potter mold that he’s been saddled with since he was a young boy. A coming of age flick of sorts of four orphaned boys from Australia who take a Holiday with a family, then rumors start to spread among them that the family is thinking of adopting just one of them. This film shows the value of family and what it really is. 2:50 PM CT @Max

4. The Polar Express. Tom Hanks voices the conductor in this holiday classic of a boy who is transported via some type of magical train directly to the North Pole. 5:00 PM CT ABC Family

5. NCIS. The agents suspect foul play when investigating a petty officer that died in a car accident. 7:00 PM CT CBS

6. The Biggest Loser: Families. The remaining Losers get makeovers from Project Runway’s Christian Siriano, then appear on the Tyra Banks Show. During a challenge, one of the Losers has a breakthrough. Tomorrow the Losers will be showing off their new looks on The Tyra Banks Show. 7:00 PM CT NBC

7. Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town. It’s one of the classics, with Mickey Rooney voicing the title character. It explains the story of how Santa began deliveirng toys every Christmas Eve as he battles Burgermeister Meisterburger. 7:00 PM CT ABC

8. House. A fitness guru collapses while filming an infomercial, and Thirteen takes part in a clinical drug trial led by Foreman for Huntington’s Disease, Kutner runs a medical advice clinic online attached to House’s name, and Cuddy shares an office with House while hers is being fixed up. 7:00 PM CT Fox

9. According to Jim. It’s the season premiere of this show while ABC looks to fill it’s schedule again after Dancing With the Stars. Jim blames the older kids for losing one of the twins’ blankets, and they eventually give in and start doing chores. 8:00 PM CT ABC

10. Fringe. Olivia, Peter, and Dr. Bishop investigate a series of bank robberies, and a personal link to the robbers’ ideas put one of the three in danger. 8:00 PM CT Fox

11. According to Jim. After Cheryl’s best friend moves away, Jim can’t handle all her requests and suggestions, and sets out to find her a new best friend. 8:30 PM CT ABC

12. Without a Trace. A doctor helps a patient at a hospital, and just after he disappears, making the team believe there is something in the doctor’s past that is causing her to vanish like this. 9:00 PM CT CBS

13. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. A Navy commander tries to take the case over from Benson and Greylek after a Marine pregnant with the product of a rape goes missing. Benson then asks Fin to help with the investigation when she begins to have flashbacks to her own assault. 9:00 PM CT NBC

14. Eli Stone. Eli has a vision that puts him in his dad’s body on Nate’s 12 birthday, and this gives him the added insight into the case of of a teen wishing to become an emancipated minor away from his father. The father is being represented by Matt and Maggie. Taylor tries to tell Matt she’s pregnant, and Keith stays away from Patti’s daughter. 9:00 PM CT ABC
