0000051228_20080820122919.jpgI can’t think of anything hotter right now than Survivor: Gabon. Not only are they in Africa, but the diminutive young gamer, Kenny, is beginning to run the whole show, organizing blindside after blindside of not just anyone, but the power players in the show. From the previews, it looks like Randy might try to beat Kenny at his own game this week, but I don’t think you can beat the gamer. If he’s the gaming champion he says he is, he’ll see that move coming before it even hits.

1. The Bonnie Hunt Show. John Stamos of ER is on, still working on promoting that final season. Pat Sajak is on as well, and his show is one that really should be thinking of “final season” time. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. Almost Famous. This is a fabulous movie based on the real life account of a teenage guy who gets the chance to follow a rock band that is fictional here, but was Led Zeppelin in real life, and report on it for Rolling Stone. 2:15 PM CT @Max

3. The Ellen deGeneres Show. Miley Cyrus is promoting her voice role in Bolt and is a few days away from celebrating her 16th birthday, and Chris Matthew’s makes a return to Ellen’s show after groping her during his first appearance. Syndicated, check local listings.

4. Survivor: Gabon - Earth’s Last Eden. Do you think Kenny and Crystal can do it again? Can they pull off yet another huge blindside? It seems Randy catches on and tries to reverse it all on them, but I don’t see the others falling for it. 7:00 PM CT CBS

5. My Name Is Earl. Tornadoes touch down in Camden County, but it all gets worse when Earl loses his karmic list. Joy and Darnell argue over who is more cerebral, Randy embarks on a wild boar ride, and Catalina and Patty undergo a religious transformation. 7:00 PM CT NBC

6. Ugly Betty. Betty’s in a competition with Marc as they both apply to a well-known training program for young editors. Justin begins an unlikely friendship, Daniel is taken with a new woman, and Wilhelmina tries to get Grant’s attention. Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka guest star as themselves. Celebrity Today will have the lowdown on this later. 7:00 PM CT ABC

7. Smallville. Chloe is concerned that Davis may try to stop her wedding, but instead the ceremony is attacked by Doomsday trying to kidnap the bride. In all the confusion, Clark and Lois grow closer. Olive is off hunting for Lex in Cuba, and is surprised to find Lana there. 7:00 PM CT CW

8. Kitchen Nightmares. Only the first hour tonight is new, as Chef Ramsay visits a financially strapped restaurant owner in Los Angeles. Not respected by his staff, it gets worse with a shortage of customers and spoiled ingredients which always seems to piss off Ramsay. But it’s still not as bad as when the police pay a visit. 7:00 PM CT Fox

9. Kath & Kim. Kath has an encounter with a gay couple while wedding shopping and also becomes curious about Kim’s friendship with a former classmate. Phil, meanwhile, struggles with insecurity. 7:30 PM CT NBC

10. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. A double homicide that involves a mother and child could be linked in some way to the prime suspect in a 12-year-old cold case. Grissom testifies at a competency hearing for the Miniature Killer, Natalie Davis. 8:00 PM CT CBS

11. The Office. Someone leaves a huge mess in the office microwave, and it brings about much tension in the office. Michael doesn’t appreciate personnel changes being made without him being aware of them. 8:00 PM CT NBC

12. Grey’s Anatomy. Lexie’s and Sadie’s surgeries go badly, as Meredith, Cristina, and Bailey rush in to assist. A man gets treatment from Owen and Derek when he is injured while sleepwalking, and Mark is the one to comfort the man’s daughter. Celebrity Today will have all the scoop. 8:00 PM CT ABC

13. Supernatural. Sam and Dean find out why the angels are wanting to kill Anna. They work to save her by restoring an important part of her past, as Alastair and his demons close in on her. Celebrity Today gets to the bottom of this later in the week. 8:00 PM CT CW

14. 30 Rock. Jack and Liz visit a businessman with a confidential business proposal, a very colorful Gavin Golure, who falls for Liz. Tracy worries his kids have conjured up sinister plans against him. Steve Martin guest stars 8:30 PM CT NBC

His father had mysteriously abandoned the baby in 1973 when Sam was 4, and it all causes Sam to wonder if this is behind the reasons for him being sent back in time. 9:00 PM CT ABC

18. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. It’s the Sexiest Man Alive according to People Magazine, Hugh Jackman. Tenacious D is on performing as well. 10:35 PM CT NBC
