What’s Hot On TV Tonight - Obama’s Message
Sen. Barack Obama is appearing on several TV stations tonight in a half hour special political message. Does that mean Sen. John McCain will be right behind him, airing his own message on a different night? Maybe the candidates always do this and I just never noticed before. There seems to be many people paying more attention to this election than they normally would.
1. I Am Legend. This is supposed to be a fantastic movie. I have never seen it, as I was afraid to because of the possible animal cruelty involved in the movie. I have been assured by some that have seen it, that you never really see anything happen, and it’s just implied. Watch at your own risk and now be better informed. 11:45 AM CT AMax E
2. The Ellen deGeneres Show. It’s all young girls on today, or should I say young women. Ashley Tisdale is on promoting High School Musical 3, and Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kellie Pickler are on as well. Syndicated, check local listings.
3. Barack Obama Political Message. Did he buy this block of time or does every candidate get this? The interesting thing is it’s not on every channel that would normally cover the debates. ABC has been conspicuously skipped. Does he have something against ABC or can they just not bare to not air Pushing Daisies? Scheduled to appear on NBC, CBS, Fox, and some cable networks as well, starting at 7:00 PM CT
4. America’s Next Top Model. The aspiring models travel to London and go on a scavenger hunt, then end up modeling clothes in a storefront window. 7:00 PM CT CW
5. New Adventures of Old Christine. Christine and Barb double date with two men they met in a liquor store, but jealousy becomes an issue when one of them has a much better date than the other. 7:30 PM CT CBS
6. Deal or No Deal. This is getting exciting, as I think pretty soon we’ll have to have a big winner one way or another. Tonight, nine cases carrying $1 million are placed in the game. 7:30 PM CT NBC
7. Criminal Minds. A serial killer seems to be targeting people that live near the railway. Wouldn’t that be kind of funny, well odd-funny, if he used the railway as transportation to and front the crime scene? That would be a criminal mind. 8:00 PM CT CBS
8. Private Practice. In an office election for who will run the office, Sam and Naomi run against each other. An African girl who wants to hide her past is treated by Addison, and Cooper’s personal and professional lives meet head-on. 8:00 PM CT ABC
9. Stylista. Aspiring fashion editors are asked to keep different fashion elements in mind as they dress a mannequin. Later, they’re assigned teams to find an undiscovered hot spot which they’ll review for the magazine. Also, one of the contestants ends up in the hospital. 8:00 PM CT CW
10. Inside the NFL. Check in to find out how great all those games were last week between all the teams at the top of their division. 8:00 PM CT Showtime East
11. ‘Til Death. Kenny is furious about Eddie’s snoring, but it doesn’t seem to bother Joy. Eddie then tries out a sleep clinic. An elderly couple sues Joy after her assistant books them on a cruise for high school seniors. 8:30 PM CT Fox
12. CSI: NY. An archaeologist that may have dug up the answer to one of the oldest murder mysteries ends up murdered himself. The CSIs covering the case end up making their own surprising discovery, the types of things that can be bought on the internet. 9:00 PM CT CBS
13. Lipstick Jungle. Victory has a nightmare that foreshadows Joe’s latest endeavor. Kirby wants to go Dutch on the Christmas plans with Nico. Griffin asks him to charm a sexist magazine editor, and Wendy worries about being a housewife, but is comforted by a new friend. 9:00 PM CT NBC
14. Dirty Sexy Money. Tripp opposes Patrick’s plan to make his relationship with Carmelita be out in the open, and Ellen’s brother demands to know the truth about his sister’s death. Nick and Lisa begin couples therapy, and Jeremy attempts to get Letitia’s house arrest boundaries changed. Brian, Jr. goes missing. 9:00 PM CT ABC

This looks a good slot for getting viewers right between Ellen and ANTM.
