What’s Hot On TV Tonight - It’s the Great Pumpkin!
There are only a few reruns on tonight, but the big news is that it’s the yearly showing of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I remember watching this when I was really young, but it’s interesting that I never even considered the existence of The Great Pumpkin a possibility. For more Halloween-related TV, NCIS chimes in with an episode taking place supposedly on Halloween week.
1. The Holiday. Although I’m not in the holiday mood, it’s starting to get chilly around here, and the warmth of the California home and the fireplace in the London home just seem really good and comforting right now. And believe it or not, Jack Black is quite warm in this as well. 9:35 AM Starz 1 West
2. Rachel Ray. Hot Gossip here. Selena Gomez will be the guest, and she’s supposedly going to speak about her rumored feud with Miley Cyrus. My guess is we’ll just hear there’s nothing to it. Syndicated, check local listings.
3. NCIS. A Halloween-related episode, a killer leaves clues on the internet about the identity of his next victim during the week of Halloween. 7:00 PM CT CBS
4. The Biggest Loser: Families. It’s the calorie quiz episode, and this time the winning team will have some type of advantage at the weigh-in. Someone apparently gets the whole calorie idea, as they end up setting a weight loss record on the show, losing more individually than the whole other team. 7:00 PM CT NBC
5. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. There is just no other kids’ TV show that is more classic than this. It’s just as big now as when I was growing up. No comments out there about how long ago that was, please. 7:00 PM CT ABC
6. 90210. Annie and Ethan plan a “non-date” for the Homecoming, and when Adrianna admits to her drug addiction, Naomi’s name is cleared. Ryan finds out that a new student is a narc after he sees her buying drugs, and Debbie confronts Tracy. A lot of drugs going on in this zip code! Check out Celebrity Today later on to find out what’s up with all this drug use. 7:00 PM CT CW
7. House. It turns out a middle-aged single father’s blackouts are really caused by him sleepwalking. Soon, his daughter becomes sick as well. Cuddly has plans to adopt a baby, but it falls through when her mother gets seriously ill just before the due date. 7:00 PM CT Fox
8. Then Mentalist. A confused girl is caught with the smoking gun that killed her best friend, but she can’t remember anything. Jane doesn’t think she was the murderer and tries to jar her memory of the event to get to the truth. 8:00 PM CT CBS
9. Dancing With the Stars. Who’s going to leave this time? Is it finally Cloris’ time? 8:00 PM CT ABC
10. Privileged. The estranged father of Megan is invited to dinner at the estate, but the small reunion turns into a bash when Lily, Rose, Will, and Sage show up. Megan volunteers Rose and Sage to work with a charity organization that provides prom dresses for needy high schoolers. 8:00 PM CT CW
11. Without a Trace. The team abandons its current case to the hands of Martin when a child is abducted from a shopping mall. 9:00 PM CT CBS
12. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. While investigating a case of a baby with AIDS, Benson and Stabler seek help from Warner. They end up turning their attention on the questionable ethics of a homeopathic doctor who prescribed ineffective vitamins to the baby. 9:00 PM CT NBC
13. Eli Stone. A rift comes between Eli and Jordan when Eli takes on a paint manufacturer and Jordan must defend himself against an insanity charge. Eli’s father’s diary provides added insight about Eli’s visions. 9:00 PM CT ABC
14. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Seth Rogen is on promoting the upcoming Zach and Miri Make a Porno. Also on tonight are David Gregory and Cold War Kids. 10:35 PM CT NBC
