What’s Hot On TV Tonight - America’s Got Dogs, Models, and Talent
If you’re feeling your day wasn’t real enough today, there’s a lot of reality here for you tonight. If you’ve had enough reality, you can get some comedy in the form of a wife that doesn’t feel she’s sexy enough anymore. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s a little more reality than I care for. I think I’ll stick to the dogs.
1. Oprah Winfrey. The subject today is updates on notorious crimes committed by children. Included are the cases of JonBenet Ramsey, Elizabeth Smart, and Shawn Hornbeck. It’s the type of thing that’s tough to watch, but that you can’t seem to turn away from. Syndicated, check local listings.
2. Ellen deGeneres Show. Guests include Pamela Anderson, Sugarland, and gold medalists in beach volleyball Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor. Anderson is always full of suprises when she’s on Ellen. She likes to do amazing backflips over the couch when she’s on. Who knows what she’ll do this time. Syndicated, check local listings.
3. Greatest American Dog. The final three dogs and their owners face off in the finale. I’ve been referring to this show as Big Brother for dogs. I’m rooting for Presley to win, but I’d be okay with anyone winning. 7:00 CT CBS
4. America’s Top Model. There was a lot of talk about last week’s episode when Tyra Banks greeted the models from some futuristic space module thing pretending to be a robot. Tune in tonight to see what she’s up to this week. 7:00 CT CW
5. America’s Got Talent. Dogs and Models not your idea of America? How about some talented people? The second ten of the top twenty perform tonight. 7:00 CT NBC
6. Bones. Reality shows not your thing? Then how about a drama about the death of a reality TV host? 7:00 CT Fox
7. Project Runway. The designers create clothing based on astrological signs. Maybe this alleviates the need to ask people in bars what their sign is. 8:00 CT Bravo
8. ‘Til Death. In the season premiere, Joy gets a speeding ticket and blames it on the fact she isn’t sexy enough anymore. For me it goes hand in hand. I may not be able to gt out of speeding tickets like I used to twenty years ago, but I’m also not speeding all the time like I was twenty years ago. I prefer to think it’s that and not that I’m not sexy enough anymore. 8:00 CT Fox
9. Do Not Disturb. Jerry O’Connell stars in this series premiere of this comedy set in a hotel that’s been named one of the ten best places to stay. Although it wasn’t one of the ten best places to stay, it reminds me for some reason of the old series Hot L Baltimore. 8:30 CT Fox
10. 20/20. All new. A look at how fame, wealth and looks can benefit some people. I don’t think there’s much of a question as to if it benefits people or not. Would you rather be famous, wealthy, and good-looking or no? See what I mean? 9:00 CT ABC
11. Top Design. They’re designing a functional room, and the episode is humorously called “Artsy Bunker.” 9:00 CT Bravo
12. Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Matthew McConaughay is the guest, and I’m going to be having me some of that. He must be promoting the new film Surfer Dude, but it only opened in limited markets, and I can’t find it anywhere around here, so this is the only place I’ll see him. 10:35 CT NBC
