Big Brother - Nice Girls Finish Last
When Renny won HoH tonight on Big Brother, it seemed like she was probably the last person left in there that’s pure of heart. By that I mean, you know where you stand with Renny. If she likes you, you know, and if she doesn’t, you probably know that as well. Not that she fires off at the people she doesn’t like; you know just know where you stand.
It makes it pretty obvious, then, who Renny will nominate to go up on the block. She and the Colonel (Jerry) have butted heads since the beginning, although she was honest with him lately, telling him she admires him for always giving his all, especially at his age. Yet, she’s disliked him for far too long; he’s an obvious choice for her first nominee. Her second chocie is obvious as well. It’s going to be April. Renny is so close with Keesha, and she knows that April wants Keesha out, making her a direct threat to her alliance.
April obviously knows this too, and that’s why she was none too happy with Renny’s win. She was even more upset, though, that she herself didn’t win. When she was eliminated by Renny first in the game, it affirmed for her where Renny was truly aligned, and showed her that Renny viewed her as her number one threat. April stalked off to the bench, to sit next to Michelle, and as she did so, she knew her goose was cooked, with the only person left to save her probably Ollie. She had told him this week that one of them needed to win HoH. But the rest of us see him sitting in the background not doing anything, letting her take the fall for everything. We knew he’d go out soon in the game and did.
Memphis and Dan were aware of all this as well, and only stayed in the game as long as they had to, showing that Ollie isn’t necessarily the only one to sit back and let the ladies do all the work. Dan answered a question quickly, getting the Colonel out, and once Ollie answered wrong and took himself out, it was easy pickins’ for the rest. Dan and Memphis knew they were safe with the remaining two, Keesha and Renny, so they were safe to go out. Keesha knew she was safe with Renny, and that’s why it didn’t seem like she had any interest to win.
The only question mark in the nominees is the Colonel. It’s been suggested by others this week that April was an obvious choice, but they didn’t know who to put up against her, as they know they want her out this week above anyone else, as she is controlling both Ollie and the Colonel. Ollie is lost without her and the Colonel loses the last person that would keep him safe. Yet, the fear is that with the Colonel on the block, he might be voted out over April. And no one wants to backdoor her, as they’re afraid she’d win the veto and take Ollie off, and they wouldn’t get rid of either one.
I think for Renny, though, the Colonel will be an easier choice, as she’s already butted heads with him too many times. I think she’ll take that chance that he could leave over April. Either way, they’ll get rid of one of those three this week, with Ollie being a threat only because he’ll do whatever April tells him to. It would be better to take out the one guiding him, but at least they’d be breaking up this season’s super couple. That’s why he’s still not going to do too much even in the PoV, as he knows if April or Jerry come down, he goes up. He’ll choose to lose the PoV once again, if even allowed to play.
On Sunday night, look for Renny to put up the Colonel and April, as it’s really her only choice. CBS will do their best to make us think Renny might be wavering with her nominees, just to make it interesting, but she’s too transparent with who she likes and doesn’t like, and those three are the only threats to Renny in her game.
