I totally agree. Everybody that I cared about is already gone. You kick off Amanda, Chakize, Michael, Carly, and even Brooke, and you pretty well eliminated any personality from the remaining field. I like all three remaining contestants, but don't really care if they win or not. At this point it's a yawner.

I definitely agree that they are gearing the show towards who they think is marketable, especially after two lackluster winners, and a definitely lackluster final two last season. I think they want David Cook to win, as I think they wish that Chris Daughtry could have tapped into that goldmine a little better. They always give the winner and runner-up contracts, so they're probably thinking as long as they both make it there, they're good.

I stopped watching each week after Michael Johns was prematurely voted off. I didn't necessarily think he would win, but thought he should be in the top 3-4. I started just watching the videos of the performances of the people I liked on youtube after that. I can't stand to listen to Archie. I just think the producers think he will tap into the tween market and be the most marketable idol. I think they have plugged him from the beginning and the lack of real competition has helped turn viewers off. Poor Archie, the tween market is a horrible market to be in. A three year career at the most. I do hope to see David C., Michael, Carly and some others get deals and would be more inclined to buy their stuff.
